Dr Jasper Sung

Dr Jasper Sung is a consultant Endocrinologist dedicated to providing patient-centred and evidence-based care.  He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and has since worked in several states across Australia in both metropolitan and regional settings.  He completed his Endocrinology training at Westmead hospital in Sydney and Eastern Health in Melbourne.

Dr Sung is active in clinical research with particular interest in diabetes and its complications.  His findings have been presented at national endocrine meetings and published in a number of peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Jasper Sung has a broad interest in all areas of endocrinology and welcomes new referrals.  His particular interests are:

• Diabetes (type 1, type 2, gestational)
• Weight management
• Thyroid disorders
• Osteoporosis
• Calcium and parathyroid disorders
• Adrenal diseases and endocrine hypertension
• Pituitary disorders
• Women’s health (polycystic ovarian syndrome, fertility, menopause)

Other than English, Dr Sung is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
