We’re pleased to introduce CART and the MAP—one of the few in Victoria.

Which Patients does this help?
The service addresses a critical gap in care for patients with autonomic dysfunction
Physician-supervised evaluation for patients with:

• Fainting
• Orthostatic intolerance
• Suspected POTS
• Unexplained collapses
• Long COVID symptoms

Tests include

• 10-minute standing test
• Heart rate variability with deep breathing
• Valsalva manoeuvre
• Sustained handgrip test

Fees

Fees for CART test are $310 AUD out of pocket, and there is no Medicare rebate available for this test.
