Holter Monitor

A Holter monitor is a small device that records your heart beat for 24 hours of longer. It is important to fill in the diary and to make sure you press and hold the button for several seconds if you get any symptoms. Also record the symptoms and the time in your diary.

Do not put any body lotions or creams on your chest or back on the day of the test as it will interfere with the electrical connection and we may get a poor recording. Please ring the nearest provider as listed below to make an appointment. Do not go to another provider if you have been referred to our service. We have different processes.

Please shower beforehand as you are unable to expose the device to water or to remove it.
