

Brenda is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA), now consulting privately at Baw Baw Physicians.
Originally from East Gippsland, Brenda graduated from Monash University in 2005 and brings nearly two decades of nursing experience across adult and paediatric care. She has worked in several tertiary hospitals in Melbourne and Brisbane across a range of clinical settings.
After completing her postgraduate studies in 2015, Brenda began working as a Diabetes Educator at The Royal Children’s Hospital in 2016 and became credentialled with ADEA in 2017. She continued her work at the Royal Children’s Hospital until 2022, and has since gained extensive experience in diabetes education through roles at Austin Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, and West Gippsland Healthcare Group.
